Opening Times

Due to a amber weather warning in place on Friday 24 January, the visitors centre, café and toilets will be closed. This is to ensure staff and visitor safety. We do not recommend visiting the site whist the weather warning is in place.

The site is open from dawn to dusk daily. From Monday 2 December we revert to winter opening hours for the café and toilets. We’re presently open 7 days a week. Please note the visitor centre now closes at 15:00. Hot food stops at 14:00. We will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day 25 and 26 December. And then from the new year, we’re closing on Mondays and Tuesdays each week until the springtime.

Northumberland Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers carry out regular patrols of the park most days. They are available to answer any questions you might have.

Disabled access: To enter the site through the main gate, please visit during visitor centre opening hours. Access outside these hours is through a kissing gate.
